Biography

Welcome to Alice Drive Middle School, a Nationally Accredited STEM School – the home of the Hawks. My name is Dr. Lambert and my hometown is Greenville, NC. I served as a military spouse for 20 years and civil service employee for 10 years. I am a veteran teacher of more than 20 years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from the University of Arizona (teaching certification), a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instructions from National-Louis University, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree certification in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College and a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Walden University in Educational Leadership. I have taught business courses at C. E. Murray Middle/High School and Chestnut Oaks Middle School. I have taught 7th grade Keyboarding, CS-First, and Fundamental of Computing classes here at Alice Drive Middle. I am the Career and Technology Education Department Chair, former Related Arts Department Chair, the advisor for Middle Level Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and participate on various committees. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to touch the lives of our young people in such a positive manner. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at (803) 775-0821 x 184. My philosophy of teaching is to endeavor to reach every child. If I can reach that child, I feel that I can better teach him or her. That child’s belief that you genuinely care, can provide a portal to learning, which enables me to become more effective as a teacher and the child more receptive as a student. If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people. (Chinese Proverb)
