Biography

Welcome to Alice Drive Middle School, a Nationally Accredited STEM School – the home of the Hawks. My name is Dr. Lambert and my hometown is Greenville, NC. I was a military spouse for 20 years and civil service employee for 10 years. I am a veteran teacher of more than 20 years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from the University of Arizona (teaching certification), a Master’s degree in Counseling from Liberty University, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instructions from National-Louis University, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) certification in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College and a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Walden University in Educational Leadership. I have taught business courses at C. E. Murray Middle/High School and Chestnut Oaks Middle School. I have been teaching 7th grade Keyboarding classes here at Alice Drive Middle for several years and serves as the Related Arts department chair, the adviser for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and participate on various committees. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to touch the lives of our young people in such a positive manner. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at (803) 775-0821 x 184. My philosophy of teaching is to endeavor to reach every child. If I can reach that child, I feel that I can better teach him or her. That child’s belief that you genuinely care, can provide a portal to learning, which enables me to become more effective as a teacher and the child more receptive as a student. If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people. (Chinese Proverb)
